Notice description

Source text reproduced without an AI summary.

The facility located at the USDA Subtropical Horticulture Research Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Station has approximately 6,000 square feet of lab and office area. The ductwork is collecting condensation and causing water damage. The HVAC system consists of one air-cooled chiller, associated pumps, and two variable air volume air handling units. The humidity in the labs was tested and determined to be higher than the acceptable range (70% or higher). A&E firm Clark Nexsen provided retro commissioning with TAB services and proposed solutions for the condensation problem, as well as designs for the renovation of the roof, HVAC, BAS, and chiller. Solicitation documents are posted below. NOTE: The drawings and specifications below are the A&E's 100% submittal to USDA-APHIS. When internal reviews are complete and returned, the A&E will finalize and send us the stamped, for-construction drawings and specs, at which point they'll be posted here. Amendment 1 and the final construction documents are posted below. Site visit attendance list is posted below. An RFI log is posted below.

Sources and method

Figures on this page are computed from public federal award records. Numbers are never estimated or generated; where a figure is withheld, the reason is stated rather than filled in.

Comparable awards are scored on benchmark category, product and service code, industry code, buyer, place, recency, and contract type. Rubric version comparables@2026.08.1.

  1. 1Notice fields come from the SAM.gov contract opportunities record last seen Sep 5, 2026. SAM.gov remains authoritative.
  2. 2Computed from 50 completed federal awards using comparables@2026.08.1, as of Aug 16, 2026. Award values are neither unit prices nor a forecast.

Note 1 covers the solicitation record; note 2 covers the comparable range. No synthetic FAQ or inferred solicitation value is published.
