The short version: we collect what the product needs to work, we use it for the product, and we don't sell it. The longer version follows, in plain language rather than boilerplate.

What we collect

  • If you create an account: your email address, your organization's name, and a hashed password. We never see or store the password itself.
  • If you use the product signed in: the searches you save, the entities you watch, the exports you request, and the solicitations you upload for analysis. This is the product working, not surveillance — each of these exists so a feature you asked for can run.
  • If you pay: billing is handled by Stripe. Card numbers go to Stripe directly and never touch our servers. We store the subscription status Stripe reports back.
  • If you write to us: the message and the reply address you gave.
  • Server logs: like nearly every website, our servers record requests (IP address, page, time) for security and debugging, and rotate them out routinely.

What we use it for

  • To run the features you use: delivering alerts you turned on, building exports you requested, and keeping your watchlist current.
  • To email you the things you asked for. Every alert and digest has an unsubscribe link, and notification preferences are on your account page.
  • To answer when you contact us.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell or share your personal information with anyone for marketing.
  • We do not run third-party advertising trackers. The only cookie we set is the session cookie that keeps you signed in.
  • We do not use the content of your uploaded solicitations for anything except producing your analysis.

The public records on this site

  • The award data published here — including contractor names and award amounts — comes from public United States Government records such as USAspending and SAM.gov. It is public information about government spending, published by the government, and it is not governed by this policy.

Deletion and questions

  • To delete your account and the personal information attached to it, or to ask anything this page does not answer, contact us and we will handle it directly.

If this policy changes in a way that matters, account holders will be told by email before the change takes effect. Questions: contact us.
