The USGS Eastern Ecological Science Center has a requirement for the dredging of Pond 3 and one chlorine contact tank (concrete basin). The specific dredging includes, but not limited to the following: - Dredge entire pond to remove settlements, remove settlements from chlorine tank (leaf debris mostly). - Work will take place in the following county in West Virginia: Jefferson - Period of Performance is 60 days after notice to proceed is issued. - Request for Quotes (RFQ) 140G0126Q0241 will close September 04, 2026, at 10:00 am mountain time. - A site visit will be held on August 28, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. (EST) CONTRACTORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND THE SITE VISIT. For site visit information please refer to FAR Clauses 52.236-27 Alt 1. If you are planning to attend, please email Adam Kotulka at akotulka@usgs.gov to provide you're the names who are going, and emails along with phone numbers no later than 24 hours before the site visit starts. - The NAICS Code is 237990. The size standard is $37.0 million. This acquisition will be 100% Small Business Set Aside. - The anticipated award date of the contract is September 11, 2026.
