Notice description

Source text reproduced without an AI summary.

The purpose of this project is to procure comprehensive professional engineering services to conduct a professional design service for the modernization of the kitchen, cafeteria, and dining facilities located within the U.S. Embassy Compound in Bogot, Colombia. The project encompasses a comprehensive site assessment of existing infrastructure, followed by the development of a complete final design package for the facility's renovation. At minimum, the selected design team shall produce: (1) Site Plan; (2) Demolition Plans (if applicable); (3) Floor Plans (architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and security features, existing vs. new work); (4) Spaces and Dimensions (1:100 metric scale); (5) Elevations; (6) Specifications; and (7) Construction Cost Estimate. These represent the minimum required deliverables; the A/E shall expand the level of detail, number of drawings, or scope of documentation within each category as necessary to fully and unambiguously convey the design intent across all eight design disciplines. Any such expansion is included within the Firm Fixed Price of this contract and shall not result in additional compensation or schedule relief to the Contractor. The modernization design must ensure deep alignment with the facility's specific operational constraints and mission requirements. Please be aware that open Solicitations will officially published at SAM https://sam.gov/ and the U.S. Embassy Bogot at https://co.usembassy.gov/es/contratacion/ The Government intends to award a Contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable list of prices. Sources and method

Figures on this page are computed from public federal award records. Numbers are never estimated or generated; where a figure is withheld, the reason is stated rather than filled in.

Comparable awards are scored on benchmark category, product and service code, industry code, buyer, place, recency, and contract type. Rubric version comparables@2026.08.1.

  1. 1Notice fields come from the SAM.gov contract opportunities record last seen Aug 31, 2026. SAM.gov remains authoritative.
  2. 2Computed from 50 completed federal awards using comparables@2026.08.1, as of Aug 14, 2026. Award values are neither unit prices nor a forecast.

Note 1 covers the solicitation record; note 2 covers the comparable range. No synthetic FAQ or inferred solicitation value is published.
