Amendment 00003: The purpose of this amendment is to post questions and answers for the subject action. Photos are attached. The solicitation is extended to support consumption of information. All terms and conditions remain unchanged. Q1 Our upfitter needs the exact model or sub-model of the government-furnished Skymira Explorer Satellite Radio Unit to select the correct console face plate. The specifications identify it only as Skymira Explorer. A1 EXPLORER PRISM Mobile Gateway (3647 PTT Unit) with EXPLORER 6205 Control Speaker Microphone. It does not have a control head that is installed within the console so a faceplate is not applicable. The control speaker microphone serves as the selector/controller and just needs to be mounted on a flat surface with 4 small bolts. Below are some photos of the control speaker microphone and mount. Q2 Could you please confirm the units exact model designation or product/part number? If that is unavailable, a photo of the units identification label and front panel would allow the upfitter to identify the correct fit. A2 EXPLORER PRISM Mobile Gateway (3647 PTT Unit) with EXPLORER 6205 Control Speaker Microphone Amendment 00002: The purpose of this amendment is to post questions and answers for the subject action. This is for information only and all terms and conditions remain unchanged. For the manual locking/unlocking device in the rear passenger doors, what type of mechanism or configuration is required? For the door unlock, it just needs to be a mechanical release that operates manually without any electronic controls to unlock the door to access the prisoner transport area. On our current vehicles, it is a installed directly into the door lock with a small metal tip accessible in the front passenger door jam that an officer can pull to manually unlock the rear passenger door. Basically, it the vehicle was in a crash or fire and the electronics disable, we want to way to open that door. What size should the front-facing white LED lightbar be, and where should it be mounted? No specific size on the front facing and it should be installed on the bumper or in the grill (This is flexible based on make/model). Are reference photos of a current or comparable BLM build available? Yes, we can provide reference photos of current vehicles that have these features from the same SOW. Amendment 00001: The purpose of this amendment is to post questions and answers for the subject action. This is for information only and all terms and conditions remain unchanged. 1.
