Amendment 0001 is to replace Sections C-3 and C-4.3.2 in the SOW with the following.C-3 SUBMITTALS. Certified quality (abrasion loss, soundness, and petrographic test results) and gradation test results of surfacing material shall be submitted to the Technical Point of Contact (TPC) for approval prior to shipment.C-4.3.2 Testing. Testing of stone shall be performed at a minimum frequency of one set of tests per 50,000 tons or fraction thereof of surfacing material placed. Testing shall include gradation, Petrographic testing as indicated in the paragraph below entitled ?Jetty Stone?. Test performance shall be pursued in such a manner that the results are obtained in the minimum time frame. All test results shall be furnished to the TPC to confirm materials compliance with the specifications. Stone not meeting the specifications shall be removed from the site and replaced with stone meeting the specifications.
