Tinker AFB is seeking a vendor for Purple Mattresses, item: Purple RestorePlus Soft Mattress, Twin XL Manufacturer: Purple Innovation, LLC Part Number: 10-21-23995 The procured mattresses must meet the following minimum mandatory requirements: Requirement Category Specification Detail Main Mattress Unit Purple RestorePlus Soft Mattress (Part # 10-21-23995) or Equal Dimensions Twin XL (Approximate sleeping surface of 38 inches by 80 inches) Top Comfort Layer Must feature a minimum 3-inch hyper-elastic polymer grid (or equivalent technology) for instant pressure relief and temperature-neutral airflow Support Core Must be a hybrid design utilizing individually wrapped pocketed coils to provide responsive support and enhance internal airflow Edge Support Must include reinforced perimeter edge support to prevent structural sagging when personnel sit on the edge to don heavy structural firefighting gear Firmness Soft / Plush rating designed for maximum pressure point reduction Health & Safety Foam components must be CertiPUR-US certified (or equivalent) to ensure low VOC emissions and non-toxic materials Warranty Must include a minimum 10-year manufacturer's warranty against structural defects C.5. DELIVERY AND SHIPPING The contractor shall be responsible for all shipping and freight costs to deliver the items FOB Destination. ELIGIBILITY The applicable NAICS Code for this requirement is 337910, with a Small Business Size standard of 1,000 employees. The Product/Service Code (PSC) for this effort is 7210 as a Product/Commodity. This Sources Sought Synopsis is requesting responses to the following criteria ONLY from businesses that can provide the required services under the NAICS Code. SUBMISSION DETAILS Interested businesses are requested to submit a capabilities statement of no more than six (6) pages in length in Times New Roman font of not less than 12 pitch. Interested businesses should submit a brief capabilities statement package that shall address, at a minimum, the following items: 1.) What type of work has your company performed in the past in support of the same or similar requirement? This should include the contract number, organization supported, indication of whether as a prime or subcontractor, contract value, Government point of contact, and a brief description of how the referenced contract relates to the products described. 2.) Can or has your company managed a task of this nature? If so, please provide details. 3.) What specific technical skills does your company possess which ensure capability to perform the tasks outlined in the description? 4.) Please note that under a Small-Business Set-Aside, in accordance with FAR 52.219-14, the small business prime must perform at least 50% of the work themselves in terms of the cost of performance. Provide an explanation of your company's ability to perform at least 50% of the tasking described. 5.) Provide a statement including current small status and company profile to include number of employees, annual revenue history, office locations, DUNS number, CAGE code, etc. Also indicate whether they qualify as a Small, Small Disadvantaged, Women-Owned, HUBZone, or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Concern. 6.) Any Contract vehicles that would be available to the Government for the procurement of the product and service, to include GSA Federal Supply Schedules (FSS), or any other Government Agency contract vehicle. In order to make a determination for a small business set-aside, two or more qualified and capable small businesses must submit responses that demonstrate their qualifications and ability to perform in accordance with the Limitations on Subcontracting clause (FAR 52.219-14).
