This is a Request for Information (RFI) to identify potential sources possessing the capabilities described herein and ascertain whether the required supplies are commercial in nature. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. Neither unsolicited proposals nor any other kind of offers will be considered in response to this RFI. Responses to this notice are not offers and will not be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. In keeping with the standards of FAR Part 10, the Government may request additional information from responders. RFI Title: Preventative Maintenance and Services on (2) Mobile Mini C-Arm Fluoroscopic Units at the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) in Sicily (Italy). LOCATION: U.S. NMRTC Sigonella � NAS , Strada Statale 192 KM 15, Catania-Enna, Sigonella, Sicily (Italy) BACKGROUND: The U.S. NMRTC Sigonella Orthopedic and Operating Room Departments requires a Preventative Maintenance and Service Agreement for their (2) Mobile Mini C-Arm Fluoroscopic Units that have come off warranty. This will include (1) Annual Preventative Maintenance, all Repairs and Corrective Actions to the units. Contractor shall be responsible for its service-related trip expenses including round trip travel, mileage, and overnight living expenses. DESCRIPTION: NAICS 811210 - Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, PSC J065- Maintenance, Repair and Rebuilding of Equipment: Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Equipment and Supplies. See DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS). Capabilities statement SHALL address the following: - Contractor�s clear understanding and ability to perform the scope of this requirement as detailed in the DRAFT PWS. - Only FULLY QUALIFIED FIELD ENGINEERS and TECHNICIANS, who have gone through Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or comparable third-party service schools for the above-mentioned equipment, shall be employed in the performance of all work performed under this contract. - Contractor�s experience performing the same or similar work as detailed in the DRAFT PWS. - Existing contract vehicles (e.g., GSA schedule) under which the responder currently offers these services, if any. - Whether the responder provides the required services to the general public under terms and conditions similar to those offered to the Federal Government.
