AMENDMENT 0001 (08/21/2026): ADDING QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS 1) Can you provide photographs of the existing generator, transfer switch, fuel tank/s, exhaust system, including wall/roof penetrations, and the surrounding area of all the equipment? Answer: These are conditions that should be field verified by contractor 2) Can a remotely mounted load bank be used instead of a radiator-mounted one? Answer: No there is no room 3) How much fuel is in the tank/s presently? Answer: Approximately 1000 gallons Should be field verified by contractor 4) Is the contractor required to provide additional fuel for testing and after testing? Answer: No only polish and transfer to new tank the existing fuel 5) Are the motor-operated dampers working properly now? Answer: Yes, this should be field verified by contractor 6) Is the WFO EAX Operations area in the same building as the generator or ATS? How far is it from the generator or ATS? Solicitation number 1305M326Q0454 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ), for Constructions Services for Generator Replacement at the Weather Forecast Office (WFO) in Pleasant Hill, MO. Commercial construction services, to provide all labor, equipment and materials (unless otherwise provided herein) necessary for Generator Replacement at the Weather Forecast Office (WFO), in Pleasant Hill, MO in accordance with the Statement of Work. Period of performance is one hundred and twenty (120) calendar days after receipt of the notice to proceed. A complete description of requirements, including documentation supporting any brand name descriptions or technical data, can be found in the SF18. 2. This is a request for quotations (RFQ) for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with RFO Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The Government intends to award as a trade-off, single award, firm fixed-price purchase order on an all or none basis with payment terms of Net 30. 3. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, bid, or proposal, as appropriate, which will be considered by the agency. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR NON-RECEIPT OF QUOTES. IT IS THE CONTRACTOR�S RESPONSIBILITY TO REQUEST AND RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION OF THE QUOTE RECEIPT. Per NOAA Deviation 2025-02/03: System updates may lag policy updates. The System for Award Management (SAM) may continue to require entities to complete representations based on provisions that are not included in agency solicitations. Contracting officers will not consider those representations when making award decisions or enforce requirements. Entities are not required to, nor are they able to, update their entity registration to remove these representations in SAM. (End)
