R--MARKET RESEARCH RESULTS - REQUEST FOR INFORMATION - PROFESSIONAL SERVICES IN SUPPORT OF DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE FIRE DEPARTMENT SELF-ASSESSMENT AND ACCREDITATION PROGRAM

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. THERE WILL NOT BE A SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. This special notice is being issued in order to provide all interested parties with information on the planned acquisition strategy as determined through market research. This requirement will be pursued as a sole source to the Center for Public Service Excellence (CPSE). A sources sought notice was posted to NECO/FedBizOps on 4 June 2019 (N6247019RFI01) to determine the availability of businesses capable of performing the requirement. Market research revealed only one company fully technically capable of meeting the stated requirements. NAVFAC Atlantic’s Office of Small Business Programs concurs with the determination to award to on a sole source basis to CPSE, a non-profit, large business. The approved and redacted single source determination is attached.
