Quotes shall be received ONLY by EMAIL and must be submitted to: Kayleigh Chaloux, Contract Specialist at: kchaloux@bop.gov by Thursday September 3, 2026 8:00am EST. Statement of Work is also attached. Subject:The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to establish a contract for the provision of the Removal and Replacement of Six (6) Dock Levelers. Services are to be performed on-site at FCI Berlin. Place of Performance will be located at: FCI Berlin 1 Success Loop Road Berlin, NH 03570 Schedule:The contractor will provide removal and replacement of the six (6) dock levelers with six (6) new 6�x8� hydraulic dock levelers at the scheduled times below. The specific days for performance of these services will be established after contract award. The contractor will be required to provide these services on an estimated one-hour intervals between the hours of 7:30am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays. Contractor shall remove six (6) old existing dock levelers, disconnect all electrical connections safely, remove and dispose of all debris, hardware, and outdated components off-site, and leave a clean, safe and ready for installation work area. Contractors shall perform necessary concrete repairs to ensure proper mounting and structural integrity, provide and install six (6) new 6�x8� hydraulic dock levelers, conduct all electrical work required for proper operation, and ensure correct alignment, leveling and secure installation. Contractors shall conduct complete functional/operational testing, verify electrical safety, correct movement, full equipment operation, and provide operation/maintenance documentation to the COR. Specific Requirements:The contractor will be licensed/permitted by the State of New Hampshire and will provide proper evidence in accordance with all current Federal, State, and local codes, laws, and requirements regarding electrical certifications. Supplies and Equipment:The contractor will provide all necessary tools and supplies related to the removal, installations, and disposal of the six (6) existing dock levelers, six (6) new dock levelers, concrete repairs, and electrical work. Description of Duties: The contractor had sole responsibility and discretion for choosing and implementing the manner and method of performing tasks outlined in the Statement of Work as long as the requirements are met in accordance with the policies described above. The services, although not directly supervised, shall be reviewed but the institution staff to ensure contract compliance. Contractor performance will be monitored but the Contracting Officer�s Representative (COR) and evaluated in accordance with RFO FAR Part 42. Institution Security: The contractor agrees to adhere to all regulations prescribed by the institution for the safety, custody, and conduct of inmates. Access to the docks will be available only during the scheduled hours, unless prior written approval from the COR is obtained. While on institution grounds and prior to departure, the operator, equipment, and vehicles, shall be subject to security checks and inspections. The Government reserves the right for security reasons to prohibit certain vendor employees from entering the facility. Due to the nature of the correctional setting, delays in performance of work may be expected. Such delays may include but are not limited to inclement weather, electrical or mechanical problems, or other security matters. When the contractor reports to the institution on a scheduled day but is unable to perform services due to such delays, the contractor will be paid for their time in the form of a predetermined trip fee. The unperformed services can then be rescheduled at the BOP�s discretion or may be performed on the next regularly scheduled day as listed in the statement of work. Charges for the trip fee should be represented as separate line-item charges on each invoice. All Quotes will be submitted utilizing the Quote Submittal 15B21826Q00000028 which is attached.
