Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source to EVAPAR for Generator Repair Services for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District W912EQ2626PA033 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Memphis District, Contracting Branch, intends to issue a commercial Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a sole-source basis to EVAPAR pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), Soliciting from a Single Source. This procurement is for diagnosis and repair of a Generac generator located at the USACE Caruthersville, Missouri site, 700 North Truman Boulevard, Caruthersville, MO 63830. The generator is identified on the repair estimate as Generac model QT08046AVSN, serial number 3689047. The reported condition is an overspeed/emergency-stop alarm that will not clear. A previous service provider replaced the emergency-stop component, but the action did not correct the issue. EVAPAR will travel from St. Louis to diagnose the unit. If the panel will not reset following a power cycle, the controller is expected to require replacement. The contractor will furnish an ASSY, ENCL H100 Panel, install the required firmware and XML file into the controller, test-run the unit, verify operational status, and perform additional diagnostics as necessary. The estimate includes four hours of onsite labor. The proposed action will be a Commercial Firm-Fixed-Price Service type contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. This action will be conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 12. This notice is posted for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive quotes. Interested firms must identify their interest and provide documentation demonstrating their capability, including detailed technical information and other technical literature showing the ability to meet the above requirement, by e-mailing Contract Specialist Kennetta F. Smith at Kennetta.F.Smith@usace.army.mil no later than 10 a.m. Central Time on September 4th, 2026. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. If potential offerors choose to submit information, past performance and references regarding capability to perform these services must be provided along with the statement of capability. The Government will not award a contract based on the information received, nor reimburse participants for information they provide. Information provided is strictly voluntary. The Government reserves the right not to compete the proposed purchase order based on responses received to this notice. This requirement may be awarded without further notice.
