Methodology
Each index tracks the median current award value for a fixed benchmark category, rebased so that the first published period equals 100.
The cohort definition is held constant across periods, so movement reflects award values rather than a changing mix of contracts. A period is published only when its underlying benchmark snapshot met the minimum sample size. Revisions are issued as new dated vintages; previously published vintages remain retrievable.
