DFM SIMULATION THE SCOPE OF THIS TASK ORDER IS TO UPGRADE THE CAPABILITIES OF AN AFP PSS PACKAGE SO THAT IT BETTER INFORMS THE PART DESIGNER AND ANALYST OF MANUFACTURING CONSTRAINTS AND IMPACTS OF DESIGN DECISIONS ON PART PERFORMANCE AND QUALITY. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VALIDATE THESE NEW SOFTWARE CAPABILITIES AS PART OF THIS TASK ORDER. THE UPGRADED SOFTWARE WILL ALLOW NASA TO BETTER DESIGN AND ANALYZE COMPOSITE PARTS MADE ON THE INTEGRATED STRUCTURAL ASSEMBLY OF ADVANCED COMPOSITES ISAAC AFP SYSTEM IN SUPPORT OF THE ACP AND OTHER NASA PROJECTS.
