THIS TECHNOLOGY IS EXPECTED TO ENABLE A WIDE RANGE OF NOVEL CHIP-SCALE OPTOELECTRONIC MICROSYSTEMS, INCLUDING TRANSCEIVERS FOR TELECOMMUNICATIONS, COHERENT OPTICAL SYSTEMS FOR SENSING (LADAR) AND COMMUNICATIONS, OPTICAL ARBITRARY WAVEFORM GENERATORS, AND MULTI-WAVELENGTH IMAGERS WITH INTEGRATED IMAGE PROCESSING AND READOUT CIRCUITRY.
