IGF::OT::IGF ARC JET TEST IN SUPPORT OF FLEXIBLE THERMAL PROTECTION SYSTEM EVALUATION AND DEVELOPMENT THE SCOPE OF THIS TASK ORDER IS TO EVALUATE FTPS LAYUPS AND MATERIALS AT COMPARABLE OR HARSHER SIMULATED ATMOSPHERIC REENTRY FLIGHT CONDITIONS. FTPS MATERIALS AND SYSTEMS WILL BE TESTED UTILIZING THE TEST FACILITY FOR UP TO 10 WEEKS OF TOTAL TEST TIME AT THREE SPECIFIC TEST CONDITIONS THAT SIMULATE RELEVANT TEST ENVIRONMENTS.THE OBJECTIVES FOR THIS TASK ORDER ARE AS FOLLOWS: OBJECTIVE ONE: EVALUATION OF FTPS LAYUPS AND MATERIALS AT FLIGHT-LIKE CONDITIONS SIMULATING A HEAT FLUX ENTRY CONDITION (SQUARE PULSE OR MISSION PROFILE IN STAGNATION OR SHEAR) OF 50 W/CM2 (HEAT FLUX BETWEEN 17 AND 50 W/CM2, PRESSURE BETWEEN 1.7 AND 10KPA). OBJECTIVE TWO: EVALUATION OF FTPS LAYUPS AND MATERIALS AT FLIGHT-LIKE CONDITIONS SIMULATING A HEAT FLUX ENTRY CONDITION (SQUARE PULSE OR MISSION PROFILE IN STAGNATION OR SHEAR) OF 50-75 W/CM2 (HEAT FLUX BETWEEN 50 AND 75 W/CM2, PRESSURE BETWEEN 3 AND 6KPA). OBJECTIVE THREE: EVALUATION OF FTPS LAYUPS AND MATERIALS AT FLIGHT-LIKE CONDITIONS SIMULATING A HEAT FLUX ENTRY CONDITION (SQUARE PULSE OR MISSION PROFILE IN STAGNATION OR SHEAR) OF 75-130 W/CM2 (HEAT FLUX BETWEEN 75 AND 130 W/CM2, PRESSURE BETWEEN 3 AND 10 KPA).

Sources and method

Figures on this page are computed from public federal award records. Numbers are never estimated or generated; where a figure is withheld, the reason is stated rather than filled in.

This page is a record of one federal award, assembled from the transactions the government published against it. Note 1 describes where the rollup came from. Values are award values, not unit prices.

  1. 1Rollup values derive from 11 transaction records parsed from USAspending.gov, retrieved Aug 17, 2026 by transform awards@2026.08.1.
  2. 2Obligations are the sum of signed federal action obligations across all transactions; deobligations are negative and remain negative.
  3. 3Current and potential award values are taken from the latest reported action, not summed across modifications.
