THIS TASK ORDER WILL PROVIDE NECESSARY ENVIRONMENTAL AND HISTORIC PRESERVATION (EHP) SUPPORT TO THE REGION IX HAZARD MITIGATION BRANCH. THE OFFICE REQUIRES TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FOR UP TO 5 PROJECT SUBAPPLICATIONS SUBMITTED UNDER HAZARD MITIGATION ASSISTANCE (HMA) PROGRAMS. SUPPORT THROUGH THIS TASK ORDER WILL ENABLE THE REGIONAL OFFICE TO EXPEDITOUSLY REVIEW AND AWARD HMA FUNDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH FEDERAL ENVIRONMENTAL AND HISTORIC PRESERVATION LAWS, REGULATIONS, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS SO THAT PROJECTS CAN BE IMPLEMENTED BY STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS.
